Best place to stay in Kumbakonam. . Aesthetically designed with modern amenities. Of course well maintained with good supporting executives. In nutshell, the best in Kumbakonam.
Very good service. New property. Location is in a narrow street.food is good and cheap. Restaurant service in room dining service excellant and quick.
Nice new hotel with good beds and excellent shower. Everything was very clean. Service from the staff was also perfect. Has a good restaurant.
A newly built hotel in the centre of the city. A business class hotel with parking facility. Good hospitality especially the restaurant service. Their sambar sadam and pongal is a must try🤤. Being a hotel in the temple City, the hotel serves pure vegetarian food.
Stayed with my family for three nights two rooms for four persons from 27th to 30th to do a temple run. My views are as follows:Pros:1) Rooms are with good bathroom fittings, Hot Water, Electric Kettle for Coffee and Tea, ACs and TV units.2) They have limited narrow Covered car parking.3) Resturant which is attached has limited menu.4) It was a Smooth check in and check out.5) Lift and Reception were clean.6) Good interiors in the rooms but small rooms with less than queen size bed I feel.Cons:1) The location is in a small narrow road or gully in a residential area on a less than 30' road which is away from the main bazaar and temples. So limited accessibility.2) Very narrow roads to access the Hotel. Not at all fit for a Hotel property.3) The attached Resturant is not only pricey for Kumbokonam standards but also does not have basic items like a Vinegar sauce but serves Fried rice??3) Rooms, Reception and Resturant were infested with a lot of mosquitoes. They could not even provide any solution like a bat or coil.4) I spotted a nala or a large drain running right behind the Hotel and I wonder whether they have a licence to operate a hotel in this kind of a surrounding.5) The Rates for the rooms for this location and size of rooms are very steep.6) No supply of Tea sachets or towels were replenished.7) House keeping must be under staffed and did not turn up everyday.PS: We booked through Agoda seeing the Google reviews but it appears that the Owner or Manager only responds for reviews online but we couldn't find anyone responsible at the hotel during our four day stay here. Very disappointed. Will definitely not recommend for pilgrims with family.
It was a wonderful stay in Kingsbury.It was a surprise that Kumbakonam has such a high tech hotelthe location is closer to the center.Rooms are super clean and super high tech and super comfortable.Service was excellent.Has good parking lot.Overall it's a fantastic place to stay.
Best place to stay if you visit Kumbakonam. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Situated in the heart of the city and very much close to all nearby famous temples.It has parking facilities too. Breakfast is too good and must try their filter coffee. Overall had a great and pleasant stay.
Brand new hotel built with typical star standards. Very good squeaky clean rooms, spacious parking and accommodating staff. Overall highly recommended.
Rooms and food is good. No issues on this front. I would say hot water was luke warm. The location is away from the main center and may need own transport. The hotel arranged cabs and autos on demand. Will recommend stay here.
